Vow Renewal Films

Savannah vow renewals

The first wedding had
one photographer, in 1974.

The original photos are yellowed, the video - if any - is on a format nothing plays. For the renewal, we do it right: the ceremony in the square, the story of the fifty years between, and the original photographs restored and woven back in. One film, the whole marriage.

  • ◆Original wedding photos restored and recut into the film
  • ◆Ceremony coverage with the pace of the vows
  • ◆Family interviews: the kids' version of the marriage

The renewal, filmed

The second ceremony deserves the first one's effort

The first wedding was filmed by a cousin with a Super 8 camera, if it was filmed at all. Fifty years later, here is the chance to do it properly - and to put the two ceremonies in one film: the yellowed aisle photos dissolving into the square at golden hour, the same vows, the same hands.

We treat renewals with full wedding-film craft and none of the wedding-day chaos - the timeline is gentler, the couple is calmer, and the speeches have fifty years of material to draw from. The result is the film the first wedding never had.

The edit

La pratique, en vrai

The dissolve: 1974 into golden hour
The moment every room goes quiet.

The studio

Wedding filmmakers, gentler schedules

01

Camille Beaumont

Founder & filmmaker

Four hundred weddings filmed, and the renewals are her favorite: calmer couples, better speeches, vows with receipts. Shoots every renewal personally.

Devon Marsh Filmmaker

The calm presence behind the second camera. Specializes in the moments around the ceremony - the kids straightening Dad's tie, the grandkid with the rings.

Priya Nair Editor & restoration

Restores the 1974 photographs and cuts them against the new footage - the dissolve that makes every room go quiet, and she knows exactly how long to hold it.

Lena Fitz Producer

Squares and permits, marsh tides, rain plans, and the family logistics. Savannah ceremonies involve more coordination than outsiders expect; Lena is the reason they seem effortless.

01

The story call

Camille hears the marriage: the meeting, the first wedding, the years. The film's shape comes from this call, and it is the best hour of our week.

02

02

The plan

Lena secures the square or venue, times the light, and builds the gentle timeline. Rain plan included; Savannah requires it.

03

03

The day

Two cameras, no chaos. Prep, ceremony, portraits at golden hour - plus the interviews if your package includes them, done comfortably that morning.

04

04

The film

Priya restores the original photos and cuts the dissolve - 1974 into this afternoon. Delivery in five weeks: the film, the ceremony edit, family copies.

Client stories

What our clients say

"Fifty years, and the film put the yellowed 1975 photos next to the square at golden hour. My mother watched it and said, well, we clean up nice. The whole family watched it twice, which never happens."

Sarah Beth M.
daughter, arranged the renewal, 49

"Our original wedding video was a Betamax nobody could play. Camille's film IS our wedding video now. The vows I actually remembered; the toasts I did not. Both survived."

Gene & Doris W.
50 years (Richmond Hill)

"The kids were interviewed about our marriage and said things they would never say to our faces. Good things. That section is why we booked, and it is the part we rewatch."

Frequently asked questions

It is the reason to book. Priya restores the photographs you do have, and the film becomes the wedding video the marriage deserves - retroactively and honestly.
Standard condition for 1974. Priya scans in place with the album flat, cleans what scanning can clean, and returns everything untouched. The stuck ones often turn out to be the best ones.
The Intimate Renewal was built for exactly that - courthouse steps, a chapel, one square, two people. Small ceremonies make some of the best films.
In the Golden Film and up, yes - separately, briefly, and it is reliably the section the couple rewatches. The kids say things to our camera they would never say to your faces. Good things.
Lena's rain plan activates: covered venues, the interior squares, or reschedule at no charge within the year. Savannah in summer obliges us roughly one afternoon in five.
Gladly - the Destination Renewal exists for it. Travel is itemized honestly before you commit: flights, rooms, rental, and not one dollar of mystery.
